Our GDS900 glow discharge atomic emission spectrometer is a valuable resource for any laboratory needing precise and productive elemental determination. It brings improved performance, stability, accuracy, and precision to your analysis and its state-of-the-art technology was designed specifically for routine bulk elemental determination in most conductive solid metal matrices. Our innovative Cornerstone® brand software and a touch-screen interface also bring increased usability, simplified reporting, and streamlined analysis times.
We have recently introduced a new Extension Spectrometer for our Cornerstone GDS900 systems, which is ideal for the analysis of aluminum alloys. This extension allows for an extended spectral range from 160 to 850 nm so that the analytical lines of Group 1 elements can be reached, which includes: H, Li, Na, K, Rb, and Cs; as well as O and other elements. This smaller, low resolution spectrometer has a similar design to the primary spectrometer on the GDS900; light that is unused by the primary spectrometer is collected via a periscope through a fiber optic cable connection. The extension spectrometer can be purchased as a package with the primary spectrometer, or can be added to your existing GDS900 with an upgrade kit.
